Came to this Beautiful traditional Pub yesterday at Old Hatfield with Hubby and family. Were locals and live in central Hatfield
Recently refurbished and clean and tidy throughout. Small quirky rooms you can just imagine Queen Elizabeth 1 enjoying a pint and enjoy the warmth of there beautiful Beer Garden.
Doggy friendly and child friendly planty of room in beautiful Old Hatfield.

Nice historical place i in the historical old town. Professional staff. Unfortunately hasn't hotel's room for sleep.

The bar staff are some of the best in the country and really make you feel like an old pal when you walk through their door. Great ales on offer and the wife enjoyed the wine!

It’s been updated over the years - but in my mind has lost something of its old Orginal character… the small pokey rooms and quirky seating- I understand why it’s been made larger and more convenient-as a kid I would sit tucked away in some corner and loved it. I’m glad to see it is still in operation as it would have been a travesty to see it pulled down - apart from Hatfield house up the road this is the only place to visit in Hatfield!
