Rusty Cutter Beefeater

I originally called to book for 6.30, but it went to automated service asking me when and what time I wanted to book. The 'person' highlighted a table could be booked at 8.30, which I didn't want. I called again, same happened so thought there was nothing available until later. Luckily my husband went online and booked for 6pm. When we arrived the restaurant was quire empty. Just wonder if phone system is putting people off by indicating its full, when in reality its empty ! Food was great though !

We went out today, Saturday evening for dinner. It was busy as usual and our waiter Will was excellent. We're semi-regulars and have gotten to know the restaurant well. We hardly have a bad experience. I ordered the Mixed Grill, the steak was cooked medium-well perfectly and there were no complains on my end about the rest of the food.

Went here for a huge family meal and was looked after by waiter Will, he was very friendly and professional, nothing was too much that we asked. He did an amazing job considering there was 30 of us! The food however was a little Bland for what you pay...my burger was lovely but the Fries were unseasoned and they had ran out of coleslaw yet still charged me full price for the meal...my partner also paid £5 for 2 prawns which I felt was pretty bad. Good visit all in all.

Great service, food nice as always I had half roast chicken the hubster had steak pie and chips, we have never had a bad meal here. I really fancied a jacket potato with my chicken but sadly they no longer do these. The server was called Will, professional, friendly, very helpful and constantly on the go, Thank you Will.

I visited today with my partner, our children, my parents and my mother in law. It was VERY busy and quite loud in there when we arrived. Our waiter, Will, warned us that there would be a wait in food and drink due to how busy it was. Our drinks order was taken and we had to wait some time for them to arrive. We then ordered our food which was a bit longer than we’d usually expect to wait but it wasn’t terrible. The starters were all hot and delicious. When the mains came out there were items missing from our plates. Will sorted this out for us quickly. All if the food was really tasty and we all enjoyed our meals very much. Will was working so hard, serving many tables and was rushed off his feet! He still managed to be attentive, checking all was on with our meals and if we needed anything else.
