Had a lovely meal here with hubby and 2 daughter’s 7 & 4. I had Sunday roast, which was really tasty, although could have done with an extra slice of beef. Mixed grill hubby had was a good size and cooked how he liked it. Nice selection for the kids menu and the desserts we had were totally scrumptious.The staff were helpful and it was great for the kids and there was a area for them to play with some toys in. Wasn’t overly expensive either. Pleasantly surprised as we had never been before but was recommended by a friend.

Fantastic place to dine. Arrived after 7pm with no booking as travelling with work. Seated quickly and the service was fantastic. Had the rib eye steak cooked perfectly and cut like butter. Sarah our waitress was fantastic very helpful and always smiling. Will return as soon as I'm in the area again. Thank you
Food is good, not the best, but it is hot and tasty. We normally sit at the tables that are not waiter/waitress service. But they are polite and very helpful. Normally, we go on a lunchtime, so the ambience is minimal. The whole building is looking somewhat tired. Hopefully, a refit is on the cards. Overall, I would say Flying Shuttle is worth a try.
Although the shuttle was incredibly busy, the staff remained very friendly, very helpful, and if there was a delay to your food, they were very apologetic. The atmosphere was very nice and very family orientated. The food was of a good high standard and piping hot. Absolutely no complaints about this visit at all.
Absolutely love this place. The staff are very friendly and super helpful and the food is delicious. A bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Very tasty! And the service was excellent. We did have to wait a while for the mains to come but it was a Sunday so they were very busy. Overall, love this place and will definitely be coming back. P.S, the desserts are to die for!
Have to say very happy. Reserved a table through Google and arrived to a friendly staff member who sat me at a clean table. Asked if I wanted a drink then handed a menu. After around 5 mins they asked if I was ready to order, I had a question which she quickly answered and I ordered my food. When food arrived it was very hot which I like, it had been made earlier on a beleave and heated when I ordered but it was hot all the way through. Garlic bread was a big rubbery not sure how they heat this if its in a microwave but it tasted good with the beef lasagne. After food was eaten plates where quickly removed and asked if I required any pudding which I said just the bill, couldn't fit anything else in unfortunately.
We were seated very quickly by our waitress, Lisa. She was friendly and kept checking in on us throughout the meal. Orders were taken promptly and she kept our drinks topped up throughout. We've been very pleased by the service and will happily come again in the future!
It was our twins birthdays so we arranged a lovely family meal. Excellent service, well looked after, food was presented well and tasted scrumptious. A good choice on the menu. Puddings were lovely and the staff even sang happy birthday to our girls when they brought our cupcakes out.
We love the flying shuttle. Shall return a again soon.
This is one of my favourite places to eat. The service is exceptional the staff always make you feel welcome and the food is fab.
The restaurant feels cosy and you never feel rushed which is great because it’s a place to feel relaxed and enjoy time chatting and experiencing great food
The whole evening was a great experience. The atmosphere was very pleasant and warm, the toilets were incredibly clean, all of the staff members were very welcoming, the food was incredibly tasty and our server Carol was very knowledgeable and very helpful!
Very nice waitress! Clean and good table layouts. Shame the play area is gone! Maybe an activity sheet and crayons to amuse little ones?
Too smaller plates for the amount of food(roasts)!
Otherwise good time was had.
Oh, and Blue light card at weekends???
As a frontline worker weekends are sometimes the only time we get free.
