discovered this lovely pub on a rather miserable day after we had visited the local farm shop. The food was very good quality and the service was courteous, fast and efficient. We'll definitely be returning.
Fabulous food with huge selection of drinks. Gin selection in particular is very impressive. Service was excellent throughout our visit with presentation of food impeccable.
If I could give 10 stars, i would! 😊. I ordered the ribeye and it was one of the best steaks I've ever had. The other food was lovely too. Service was very friendly and the young girl was very personable and great with our daughter. I can highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner!

The food was amazing! Service was slow and seemed to be staff doing not a lot. Patrick & Emily were working hard both was great. I do feel there does need to be a leader as the other staff just stood around. But really enjoyed being back
Under new management so thought we'd give it a try. Lovely food and very reasonably priced. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Can't fault it at all. Will definitely be returning.
We were there last weekend, food atmospheres superb, pub decorated for Halloween. Staff all friendly nothing was to much trouble
Enjoyed a sunday roast here last week, staff were friendly and welcoming! The roast was full of flavour, a huge portion, and included plently of meat and roast potatoes! Starters were also amazing, I went for the spinach rolls which were delicious! There are so many vegetarian options, which can be a problem in some other restaurants. I couldn’t fault my experience and will definitely be returning!
Must say service was brilliant young girl by herself until 5 pm and she couldn't of been more accommodating 5* , food was well presented , hot and totally delicious 😋 highly recommend, lovely outside area aswel .realy can't say anything negative well done also must mention the onion rings which are mega
What an absolute pleasure to visit here. It is great to see pub be taken back to its roots after many years. The place has had a spruce up and the menu is of restaurant quality ! I am happy I have a great place to eat in once again 😁👌
Yummy food & friendly attentive service. Excellent selection of wines & ales to accompany your lunch/dinner. Easy parking & access. Would definitely recommend to friends & family.
A welcoming and nice cosy atmosphere. They offer a limited selection of beers and wines but more than enough for most people!
Unfortunately the time taken before taking your food order is too long particularly as there were 2 members of staff on and they were not very busy.
The following wait for food to be served was at the maximum period of 35 minutes that we expect especially in a nearly empty pub.
Having had our grumble about slowness we can only applaud the chef's abilities in the kitchen. The quality of the food was exceptionally good, served very hot and very fresh.
The beef pie is so huge it is almost big enough for 2 people and it is extremely good quality and very tasty. The side salad we ordered was a great surprise as it was very fresh, well dressed and presented.
Overall a worthwhile visit just be sure not to be too hungry because a long wait for food can cause a problem.
