Herriot's Cafe

We couldn't recommend Herriots in Hawes highly enough. So helpful getting our trip organised, welcoming and informative when we arrived, breakfast was superb, great packed lunches, showers hot and much needed after the walking. Rooms were clean and well stocked with everything you need. If we had to find a fault it was that the rooms were a little on the small side but that's being picky!

Wonderful place, friendly hosts, excellent food, we were a group of four ladies walking the Herriot way . Having taxi service, packed lunches and great breakfasts, couldn’t fault anything . Would recommend to anyone. Guest house is right in Hawes plenty of places to eat and, of course wonderful views.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Herriots, centrally located in the quaint little town of Hawes. Comfortable bed, spacious and powerful shower (much needed after a week in a campervan) and beautiful view from the top floor over the surrounding hills. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts really friendly, welcoming and made us feel at home. Highly recommend and we will return for sure.

Been coming to Herriot's for a good few years now. Glenn & Liz make us feel like it's coming home. Latest visit was just last week when we did 3 nights B&B. Superb! Currently cutting back on my food intake, but the breakfasts Liz makes were sorely tempting. Cafe and art gallery have been closed due to covid, but hopefully reopening later this month. If you're in Hawes, not to be missed! 😀😀😀

Glenn & Liz, run a quality Bed & Breakfast in Hawes and provide an excellent place to explore the North Yorkshire Dales. The welcome is friendly. Rooms and clean and value for money. Liz produces a super breakfast setting you up for a good days walking. All in all, Herriot's, is well worth checking out if you are staying in the area.
