A hidden gem!
One of the few places that are open on a Sunday in Hawick.
The carvery is SUPERB, plenty of options with meats, rice, vegetables etc. The gravy is AMAZING, proper tasty.
The staff are warm, friendly and very welcoming to travellers.
It's a little difficult to find, so I've edited the location on Google maps.
Already looking forward to our next visit!

You won't be disappointed with the quality of service and food at this place. Chef and Waitress couldn't have been more welcoming and the carvery was truly memorable, each roast cooked to perfection and had all the trimmings you could imagine and expect for you to self serve on !

Very affordable food, staff are always lovely, my mum actually got married there, there is a carvery every Sunday and you get to have 2 played of whatever you like for 10 pound and I think its a bit less for the kids. 😊

2nd time we've visted the Mayfair while staying in Hawick.
It was recommended by the cottages owner.
Don't judge a book by its cover...doesn't look much from the outside.
Sunday carvery as good as the first visit.
Had a wide selection the of the meat's on offer, they don't skimp on the portions
Still one of the best carverys that we've had.
Puddings, well we managed to squeeze them in, again

Lovely bar with very friendly staff. Really good bar that serves honest food. The atmosphere is good and the restaurant is really nicely set out and up to date . Cant complain atall about the food, which was really good. Has room for any wedding partys or birthday partys with a big outdoor beer garden . Good bar to start or end the night if going on a pub crawl in hawick. Will definitely be back . Also would like to wish the young waitress who's training to be a vet all the best for uni and the future .
