great food. if you order at least the day before you can have a gluten free pie (both for intolerance and celiac disease). Great taste, filling, worth it.
there is a nice bench outside where to have the pie. totally recommended, thank you Nick!
Stumbled upon this amazing pie shop today as we were looking for a coffee shop. The smell was just amazing as we walked in. We were then told all the pies are home made witch wanted to make us to try them even more! We sat in the seated area upstairs. We had steak and ale pie & a vegetarian pie.
Quite simply amazing. Nothing to fault!
Loads and loads of filling in both! Pastry made and cooked to perfection.
We had these with a cappuccino coffee witch was equally as good!
Will definitely go back here when we visit Haworth again!
Thank you. :)
What a great place, had cake which was fantastic, then bought pies to bring home for latter! Only went to buy a gift voucher! Great friendly staff, made to feel very welcome a must visit when in Haworth.
We came across this lovely quaint cafe last week. I had the steak and Stilton pie and husband had the steak and ale, both were excellent. Wish I’d had room for the lovely cakes on offer. The food and beverages are really good quality and great value.
Quality food, staff were super friendly and welcoming, checking up on us whilst eating to see if everything is okay. We got the veg pie and it was fresh and delicious. Coffee went down nice too. Contactless accepted. Tables and seating area were clean as was the toilet.
The best pies we’ve ever had! Absolutely delicious, very generous portions and a lovely place to sit. I can’t wait to come back! Also the owner was very welcoming and happy to have a chat. Perfect!
A pie is a pie right? That's what you might think until you've tried one of the freshly baked pies from Hunters Of Haworth.
The first time I went I had a steak and ale pie that was head and shoulders above any other pie you've ever tasted. The fillings are the most meaty and generous you will ever see, and the taste really shows that the owner has worked in some of the finest kitchens as a top chef in his time.
The cafe itself is a cutie, and really nicely done with plenty of space upstairs to eat (in a lovely little art space with amazing artwork on the walls)
Staff are obviously trained to look after the customers and visitors in the best way possible so you'll always get a smile and a warm welcome as you try and decide which pie to go for!
Yesterday I had the chilli beef and quite honestly it was just perfection.
The meat was delicious and I don't know what secret ingredients went into this one but my goodness I have to have another as soon as possible.
Pastry is absolutely amazing - my favourite kind, and the pie top crust was a delicious buttery flaky one - lovely!
Honestly even if you're not even in Haworth it's worth the trip to taste the pies freshly baked and hot out of the oven, and you can even buy some uncooked ones to take home and bake yourself in your own oven too.
It's a must visit cafe (the coffee is great too!)
What a pie! Mammoth chunks of fork tender steak, crispy pastry, and enough gravy to coat your peas.
Took a steak & ale and a steak & black pudding away to cook at home and heartily recommend - a good easy tea for holidaymakers.
Fantastic home-made pies best spot around if you fancy a hot pie with mash and mushy peas nice little upstairs seating area that hosts a gallery.
And the service was friendly and welcoming.
Hunters of Haworth will be back soon.
Probably one of the best pies I have ever tasted.
