Absolutely incredible Chinese in Haxby, York. Not heard a bad word about this restaurant so we knew we had to visit asap! We visited with some friends yesterday and ordered a feast, we’re already wanting to go back asap! Not only were the portion sizes HUGGGGEEE but the food was top tier too! 👌 We shared - 🧂 Salt n’ Pepper Ribs 🥜 Satay Chicken ⭐️ 🦐 Prawn Crackers 🥩 Crispy Chilli Beef 🐔 Bobo Chicken ⭐️ 🐷 Char Sui Pork 🧂 Salt n’ Pepper Chips 🍜 Egg Noodles 🍚 Egg Fried Rice We don’t really have a bad thing to say about any of the dishes, but the stand out dishes had to be the satay chicken and the Bobo chicken. They both had so so much flavour and a nice kick! It was unreal 😍

We have dined here twice now and been treated to excellent friendly service, delicious piping-hot food and generous portions with enough to take home in a doggy-bag on both occasions. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, especially set menu C. We particularly enjoy the pekkng hot & sour soup, and the fact that the banquet allows you to choose your own mains, which allows for greater options to enjoy on the menu!

Absolutely amazing! Best Chinese we have ever had! The food is fresh, hot, and massive portions, so much so it has done us for two meals (we are big eaters), lol. Spent the weekend in York centre, and this was just a 5 mile drive to haxby. Ordered in advance on the phone (which is quite a busy line. Keep trying as it's worth it) and was not too long wait, even though it was a Saturday night, a week before Christmas. Thank you, Merry Christmas.

We are staying in Haxby with friends for a long weekend and earlier ordered from Paddy Fields of Haxby. We collected a take away order of various different meals for 6 tonight and every meal was excellent and more than enough in size to suit all of us. We cannot recommend them enough as we were so surprised how polite and pleasant they were too.

Visiting York on holiday and came for a meal with family. Wonderful place. The food is so fresh and tasty, very generous portions but not at the expense of outstanding quality. Service is warm and friendly. The restaurant is decorated simply and comfortably. If even back in the area we will ensure that we return.

100% best Chinese in York as other reviews say. Have all the nice touches: mint choc after dinner, wipes between courses, clean your table between courses, serve rice onto your plate before you start, constantly tip up drinks etc. They are so kind to our family every time. Always recognise us and are so friendly. The atmosphere and interior is lovely (very comfy seats!) The food is genuinely incredible. So fresh, tasty and heart. The duck is better than any other I’ve ever had. Genuinely couldn’t recommend enough.
