Really nice food, great seating area and good opening times. You do have to buy water, service can be little slow and can get very noisy. All the staff are very nice!

Cannot fault the place! Came here as a large group of 30 for my daughter’s birthday after a trip to Legoland. (Takes about half hour/ 40mins with the traffic at that time of the day but we parked at the retail park where Sainsburys is to avoid the traffic at the roundabout and walked 5 mins up the road) They decorated the restaurant with balloons in our area. They bought out the food in good timings & was very reasonably priced for all of us. Don’t be put off by the bad reviews, we will definitely be returning when we’re in the area again, everyone was happy & well fed. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

This place does some of the best Punjabi food, full of flavour and spices with the right level of heat. This place is more like a canteen you would get in India with a similar level of service, don't expect a smile :-) On this visit the food took forever to come out and as the tables do not have numbers the staff never know where the food is supposed to go. Put samosas went to another table before being refused by them and sent on to us. As you can bring your own alcohol it can get a bit noisy in there so do not expect a refined dining experience, however if you like very good Punjabi food at a reasonable price nowadays then I would definitely recommend the place, the black pepper chicken is awesome.

Very delicious Desi Food, real touch of original taste of Punjabi food, like Saag, Paneer, Roti, makki Roti, mix vegetables. Service is also very good. Very friendly staff and showing real face of Punjabi hospitality.

I visited this restaurant for lunch with my family, I have been here a number of times and usually just as it is opening for lunch. It slowly becomes busier during service and by the time I leave it is a third full. The restaurant front is a little dated and needs updating but nothing major, it is in a small parade of shops across the road from Wickes. You can park on the side road or the Wicked car park but for a limited time. The restaurant is large with plenty of seating and enough space so you don’t feel closed in. The food is Indian cuisine and mainly in the Punjabi style, the fish pakoras and delicious by the way! Portions are large and food is usually very tasty, on one occasion the food didn’t taste as good as previous visits which I assume was because there was a different cook covering service. The food overall is lovely but the price could be a couple of pounds less in my opinion. I often end up having to take home half my meal lol, the lamb jalfrezi is excellent and very very spicy, naans, paratha, biryani’s and saag are some of my favourites. The toilets are clean but not big, there is a disabled toilet for anyone wondering. The service is good and friendly but sometimes i feel that they could use one more member of staff to take the pressure off. Overall I would recommend Desi Tadka and as I said I have visited it on numerous occasions. I hope you found this review helpful and if so please hit the like button and follow me for my other reviews. @desitadka #desitadka #indianrestaurant #punjabi #punjabifood #indianstreetfood #southall #hayes #uxbridgeroad

I had one of the most beautiful time in this restaurant. It was my second time here and it was my birthday day. My partner and my children were accompanying me and we all loved the food and our waiter Firoz was extremely friendly and comunicative! Looking forward to have an enjoyable evening there again soon! Thank you, Firoz. You have made our evening and especially was my birthday xx

Best curry I’ve had outside of Leicester (bless). This is a legit Punjabi joint that serves some of the best tasting curry you can get. It’s a no frills environment that focuses on atmosphere and authentic food. I’m fussy with Indian food, but this place was consistent across every dish. Top tier.
