We decided to try a new fish n chip shop last night as our usual one was closed. I’m so glad it was. On a whim we decided to look at the Cod father menu, and placed an order to be delivered. On past experience with deliveries, we expected it to be just about hot enough to eat if you wallop it down quickly. This is NOT the experience we had here. It was scalding hot and the batter so delicious and crispy. Even the peas were roasting hot. Generous portions of chips, too. We have told our relatives how lovely it is, and can’t wait to order again.
Ps they also do other tasty food besides fish n chips. Too much to mention here, but please go look at the menu for more info. Can’t recommend highly enough

I ordered a takeaway which included mix grill, chips & nan.
Everything was excellent. You can improve on the following.
(1) Please put less colour in the kebabs.
(2) The quality of chips can be improved. They need to be soft, fluffy & drier.
Overall you are doing a good job. Well done to the whole team.

We've shifted from our regular Chippy to this one. Although they are much further away. Service is friendly, food is cooked fresh and delicious, We've had Indian, F & C, donner kebabs, fish pakire.
One thing sir, please avoid colouring, it kills the homemade food feeling. For us and sure many, it is an 'off-putter'

The sliders were mini-burgers packed with unique flavor combinations, and the quality of the ingredients was evident with each bite. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was visually appealing. please visit them to have a great weekend food.

I have had the best fish and chips ever in my whole life. The customer service was brilliant.
While I was buying fish and chips then I came to know that they have tiffin service also veg or non veg.i have started tiffin service, guys its just extraordinary.taste is brilliant. Combination of menu is fantastic with reasonable price. Every week I get sweet dish which is wow. I definitely recommend this place. You will not regret it.

Had a takeaway from Good cod a couple of weeks ago.Did not realise we had a chippy up the road from where we live!! Makes a change from all the chicken takeaways in the area.
The service was very good, and the food was lovely. And the menu has a lot of choices.
Will definitely order from here again.

I decided to give the shop a try after it opened recently and was not disappointed! The fish and chips were cooked well and tasted superb. The menu overall gave good choice, including 5 different types of fish! The service was very polite and professional and the surroundings clean and pleasant.
