Great pub open fire proper nice atmosphere and food was great I had brill special which was one of the best fish dishes I've had

Meal booked for 5.30 - pub busy with lots of locals enjoying the sun. Excellent steak and chips ( don't get the salad leaves though ). My wife's Scampi was excellent as well followed by a shared sticky toffee pudding to die for - the best ever !!

Wonderfully friendly staff, and beautifully presented yummy food. The outside really doesn't do this place justice. The warm atmosphere inside and family friendly/dog friendly dining made for the perfect evening for our family gathering. All the staff; bar, waiting and kitchen took time to come and greet us and have a chat. Even the lovely chef came out to ask our opinions on his specials, which were delicious and well priced. My 6 year old has now decided she wants to work for them and my one year old spent half the evening pottering about getting to know some of the locals. Wonderful evening had by all.

Our party of 7 enjoyed a lovely Sunday carvery. The service is friendly and welcoming. The meal was first-class and the restaurant very clean and tastefully decorated. Overall, most enjoyable and will not hesitate to return. 5-Stars.

Great pub. Fitted us in last minute after a day trip to lands end. Never seen so many clean plates. Ribs were the best I've ever had. Well done Guys.

Always love this place when I go in for a drink, I had food on my birthday last week too and it was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend this place to everyone, and even more to dog owners. They will love your pet just as much as you 🥰

Only stopped for a drink whilst on a charity motorcycle run. Greeting was great. Staff handled the mass influx of bikers well and with a smile. The beer garden was lovely. And the food we saw being brought out looked and smelled gorgeous. Will be going back very soon.
