Squirrels Tea Room & Bistro

My wife and I made the rather long drive from Norfolk to Cornwall to attend my friends wedding yesterday. 9/11/2019. What a day! I must thank all the staff for an exceptional day. The meal was superb and probably one of the best we have ever had. The beef was so tender and the desert was beautiful. The tea room roadside appearance is plain, but when you get round to the entrance this changes. A beautiful setting with borders and a huge green space. We had a Carvery and the food was great good portions and a wide range of vegetables to select from. It was a very nice meal. Outside they recently introduced a small mini golf course. Great for young kids. The family and I had a good time.

Came for lunch with my boyfriend and played a game of crazy golf. omg the food was amazing, home cooked ham was the best we've ever had, it was so tender and flavorful. The golf was really good fun, it's a been handmade and so much detail in the craftsmanship. The joke at the bottom of the garden is funny.

What can I say... These fantastic people hosted our wedding yesterday. This is an awesome team who not only know exactly what they are doing. They listened to us and gave us exactly what we wanted! The food was ample and tastes fantastic, catered for multiple dietary requirements with what appeared to be ease although I'm sure there was an awful lot of effort that went into it. They controlled the flow of the day beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxed which is what we wanted. The children had a fantastic day running around the garden. Their DJ played songs to get people on the dance floor and keep the party rolling. I feel like we have had gold star treatment for an incredibly reasonable price. Cyril you and your team played an absolute blinder they were all smiles until the very end of what must have been a very long day for them. I can not thank you enough!

Really enjoy dining here. Good food and service. Recent refurbishment to allow for a tea room. Large car park area and the Manor House has extensive grounds excellent for outside dining during the summer. Caters for weddings and private parties as has separate areas within its grounds, summer house providing good photo opportunities. I was part of a group of 26 and we were all seated around a large table. Whilst it was their Xmas menu the choice was extensive and allowed for special diets. They already have a mother's Day menu prepared. Really recommend dining here but advise booking as places are limited..
