LULA SHACK REOPENS AT GWITHIAN BEACH - THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC AND NOT TO BE MISSED What a great find. Hidden away on the Hayle Estuary. Its own little beach leading to the main Hayle beach... Great food and reasonably priced. I had the ribs and chicken with chips and salad. Mac and cheese for my daughter and shrimp tortilla for the wife. All very impressed and most definately worth a visit. Can get busy in the evening so get there early. (Eat indoors or loads of nice outdoor tables) beach heaven! Please come and support this local business. Once you have been here you will want to come back. Still a shame they were forced to move but kept it local. ×××××××××××××××××××××××××××××

Terrific location at the end of North Quay with great views over the estuary to Lelant church. Lots of outdoor seating. Very dog friendly, and that includes indoors. Very good staff. This is a busy place, but understandably given the quality of the food. Excellent choice available - pancakes very good.

We (family+dog) ate here today for the first time, and would highly recommend. Food was delicious - it did take a little longer to come out but it was freshly made and worth the wait. Great location, nice decor, and has its own car park, and although it was very busy at the time we managed to get the last space. Only here for a few days but will be looking to come back again before going home 🥰

After reading the reviews but struggling to get a decent meal anywhere in the area we decided to give Lula a try. Expecting bad service but good food we ended up with a great experience! The best food we've had anywhere while on holiday by a country mile! great drinks, views and atmosphere. Staff were OK but as we were expecting poor service it was fine. Unfortunately we found Lula on our last night or we would have gone every single day ! Definitely worth a visit to anyone visiting St Ives, Carbis Bay, Marazion, Hayle etc 👍

Great location! Not on the front beach of Hayle where the wind can get really heavy, but around the side looking at the estuary and back at part of the harbour in line with where the sun travels. Coffee and Cake is good, however the pricing isn't what it says on the boards, so be aware it is more expensive. I hope the new Hayle Harbour apartments don't ruin this cafe.

We absolutely loved our Lula experience! I'd gathered it was very popular and got very busy in the evenings so I pre-booked our 5.30pm table for 4 people over the phone 48 hours prior with no problem, the member of staff who took the call was friendly and efficient. We were acknowledged and greeted immediately on arrival and shown to our table. A member of staff came up after 10 minutes to take our drinks order and we also ordered food at the same time. Our drinks came very quickly and our food arrived around 25 minutes after ordering. Myself and our 2 daughters had the wings & ribs each and my husband had Caesar salad with popcorn shrimp and salt & pepper squid as side dishes. Everything was piping hot, delicious and portions were just the right size. During the course of our meal, we had 2 members of staff check we were happy with everything and we felt very well looked after. On a side note - During our time there we did notice a reserved table for a 6pm arrival x 8 people behind ours and by the time we had finished (around 6.45pm), this party was still a no-show. Now I've seen bad reviews on here citing no tables available/too busy/not attentive enough (the authors do sound as having a rather entitled attitude tbh) and I feel that to not have the common courtesy or decency to call up & cancel your unwanted table reservation so a small business can re-sell that table is disgusting! So, I'll leave this nugget of food for thought out there - you reap what you sow. If each person had a little more forethought, consideration & empathy then the 🌎 would revolve far smoother for us all. Thank you for our wonderful experience Lula Shack, we will be back! ❤💙

We whiled away the early evening eating tasty food and drinks at this great little restaurant. The team were friendly and the food was served in good time. From the outside entrance it isn't too attractive, with building works to the side and quite industrial looming, but don't judge a book by its cover, step round the back and you are rewarded with tables set in sand overlooking Cooper House Pool/River Hayle. Lots of tables inside too. Lovely chilled atmosphere- definitely worth a visit.
