Pubs in Hayle including this 1 simply have no standards of instilling smartness. Scruffy customers to match the equally scruffy staff. Don't people go out in this area looking tidy ? Obviously not . Nor do bar staff
The pool table was good, I won and then I didnt. The beer was excellent, and then we sat outside drinking and nearly missed our train. It was that good. Enjoy.
Looking at previous reviews, I wasn't expecting much, however I was nicely surprised. Really friendly welcome by the staff and a lovely little suntrap of a garden to sit in and watch the world go by. Recommend if in the area and feel a thirst.
