2pm on a Saturday, it was freezing, we didn't take our coats off. I like the Embers Inn menu because I'm not a fan of pretentious, vertically-stacked food, and there's plenty of choice at fair prices. I had Hunters Chicken, which was cremated on the bottom but more or less edible otherwise. The tomato was almost perfectly taste-free, but it's November, so... I have eaten here a couple of times before though, and the sausages were delish, as was the carbonara. Think Harvester in a pub. Plenty of parking.

I cannot express enough how fantastic both the service and the food was at this place. We ran a bit late for our booking but that was no problem, and they took my egg allergy very seriously to the point where once the food arrived they reassured me that the utensils, plates and other equipment was thoroughly cleaned to prevent cross contamination. On top of this the food was lovely and well worth the money 😁

The staff are all so friendly and seem pleased to be working there. On arrival we went to the bar and asked where our reserved table was. We ordered our drinks there and the staff member said sit at your table and I will bring your drinks to the table. We ordered further drinks at the table as our desserts arrived. Food was good and quiz was fun - shall certainly return again.
