Benvenuti

I love going to Benvenuti, it is a great local Italian restaurant. We go quite often as it is quite close by and has a free car park also, this can get full so if that happens we usually park in hazel grove park and ride. The food is great, we love eating here I'm a big carbonara fan, and the carbonara from Benvenuti is very good and the portion size is also very good, large portions. Prices are reasonable. The Tiramisu for desert is also fantastic and I recommend trying it. The service is also always excellent and the staff very friendly, the only improvement to service would be I do feel it could be a little snappier, we have waited a long time before now for things like the bill. Not a problem at all, just an observation. If in a rush it can sometimes be a negative, and the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars. If you like Italian food and friendly service this is the place to go, give it a try you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful, family-run Italian restaurant. You are instantly transported to southern Italy when you walk in. The decor is deliberately unchanged from its foundation in 1980 with mementos from across Italy over the last 50 years. The building has space for private functions and an outdoor area which is perfect in summer! The food is lovely with dishes from across Italy, including the family’s native Muro Lucano and the choice of bottled beers and wines are authentically Italian. A truly unique restaurant and a cornerstone of the community where everyone is treated like family.

I had my 50th birthday party here it was so good, I also had my retirement party here last night. Franco and all the staff made it a very special evening, the food as ever was excellent. The best Italian restaurant in Stockport. Franco couldn’t do enough for us all, nothing was too much trouble for the 45 guests. Thank you so much to all the staff who made it a truly memorable evening.

Great authentic Italian restaurant, the courtyard makes you feel like you're in Southern Italy! Food is great quality and freshly made on the night. The pizza was smaller than I anticipated but that allowed for a more well rounded meal than you might get at another Italian restaurant as we also had room for a starter and a dessert. Covid safe and staff were very helpful and friendly.

This place is amazing! I first got introduced to this place by my boyfriend nearly a year ago. Each time we go, we try and get something new but it's hard not to get the same thing each time because we love the food so much! The trio garlic bread is amazing, and we always have that as a starter, and then change what we have as another starter, to go with the garlic bread. The staff are lovely and know us well now and are always exctionally well. We never have any complaints about this place.
