We called in today as a party of 8. We expected the normal service from a local pub that serves food. What we found was excellent service from a hardworking lady, fantastic food and all at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back. Thank you ����
We both had a 8oz rump sizzling steak. Cooked to perfection. Would recommend this to anyone. Never had a bad meal here. But this was excellent.
Not bad at all much better inside than the outside makes it look . Food is ok , not badly priced . Staff are good . Clean and tidy good atmosphere . About £13 on average for a plate of food and a drink .

Sat outside for quick bite to eat. Menu's was standerd pub type Menu. Food was good and tasty. Basic simple fairly well priced. Would definitely go back. Just ensure you put ur car reg in at the till or you will get a ticket. Parking is free just ensure you register. Got a kids play area outside. Dogs also welcome which is a bonus.
Went for a meal. Really enjoyed the food. The staff are very friendly. Plenty of parking and accessible toilets.
We held our wedding reception at the George and Dragon.
It was perfect, and it didn't stretch our finances. We were well looked after,
I ordered the katsi chicken curry with the sauce separate, it was so delicious, I had to take my hat off to Nick, Adam and Carl the chefs. Great service, brilliant atmosphere especially having the park connected to it kept my kids entertained leaving us to enjoy dessert in peace, for dessert I had the triple fudge chocolate naughtyness
Nice food, but portions of fish and of scampi were v small. Curries were lovely.
Since I left the above review, the manager of the George and Dragon has contacted me, it seems we were given some Seniors meals in error. We have been reimbursed, and wouldn't hesitate to go again, the food was very nice.
Always a pleasant visit whenever I'm in got served by a young lad called Dan the other day and he was really attentive and welcoming, kitchen staff this night were absolutely spot on, some of the best food I've had from here, cannot recommend them enough! Definitely a spot to check out in hazel grove. ❤️
Called in for lunch, Lorna greeted me with a lovely smile, and recommended the chicken, bacon and avocado baguette and it was delicious, friendly atmosphere, efficient service and food well presented, nice and fresh and good value for money! A very pleasant experience, will definitely return.
Great quiz on a monday night. Good selection of beers. Friendly atmosphere and nice staff. Has both sky and BT for all the sporting events. Has a beer garden. Parking is free for customers, but you must record your registration at the bar.
I visit this pub on my own at least 2 nights a week as my daughter has training around the corner.
Its a lovely, cosy, friendly little pub.
I often eat and the food is great too.
They play the football but I like football so that’s fine. Customers and staff are all friendly.

Lovely friendly staff. Clean premises. Small play area for kids. Outdoor seating. Quite a large place. The food is not expensive but it's rather processed. Home cooking it isn't. Good coffee.
