New Ground Coffee

The best coffee in Oxford … hands down. The options are plenty and all of them are just delightful! You can get the beans of any of the coffees you try. The customer service is also top notch. I don’t think I will ever not go there if I am ever in Oxford! More than reasonably priced … oh and the banana break slice is just 🤤 10/10

New establishment by the looks of things, but very interesting. Fantastic that they roast their own coffee which means you are guaranteed a unique flavour profile coffee. My coffee was excellent. I happened upon the place by accident but if you want excellent coffee with a Difference New Ground is where I would go. Costa & Greg's are within a stones throw, but boringly predictable... Be adventurous and tease your palate! Recommend highly.

Coffee and cake with a friend at New Ground Coffee today. Although the displayed menu only gives three options we were told we could have what we wanted - no problem with providing a black Americano and a decaff cappuccino. Coffee was good with a slightly fruity flavour and cakes delicious, all at a reasonable price. Seating was limited but we were perfectly comfortable on the stools at the end of the bar with the added advantage that we got to chat briefly with another customer and with Mike, the member of staff who served us. Other reviews have said that staff aren't friendly but this was certainly not our experience. When he wasn't serving, Mike was working where we were sat and chatted to us but didn't intrude on our conversation. Bearing in mind this is primarily a coffee roasting and distribution business, I think they manage the cafe side very well. We will definitely go there again.
