As a pub it's great, got a cracking atmosphere and the service is great from the staff. For me the letdown is the food. The burger I had was ok but not great the meat was like rubber and the bacon was tough. The fish and chips while a big portion the batter wasn't great lacked flavour and was a bit stodgy. The pint of Guinness was poured properly and tasted great one of the very best around. Would come back for drinks but probably not for the food.

The food is stunning. I had surf and turf today. It was the most perfect and juicy steak and the scampi was gorgeous. My friend had the mac n cheese. She adores it. I had the hot chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice cream. Stunning!!! And my friend had the chocolate sundae. It was all incredible!! I also unfortunately had a seizure before ordering and the staff were brilliant. They called an ambulance and ensured I was OK. They were really understanding and kept checking I was OK throughout the meal. Thank you to the team. You are all wonderful x

I love it here, the staff are so friendly and helpful they make it feel like your part of their family while you are there. I honestly can not fault anything. The staff are so cheerful and welcoming it makes it a lovely meal out for all the ages. They are happy to help wherever they can and nothing is too much trouble for them. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Great food.
