Great to see plenty of vegan options on the menu. All that I would change is to offer tasty wholesome whole grain options eg., the bread was only available in bland white which I would never choose, but to be fair that’s standard at most eateries.
Great cafe. Reasonably priced excellent food. Look out for the amusing decorations. If you are in a wheelchair, just ask the staff to help you in via the level access back door. Thoroughly recommend.
The sharing seafood platter was amazing. So much salmon, tuna in mayonnaise, anchovies and hummus with plenty of bread and pittas to dip. We had the gluten free one and it was brilliant. Definitely recommend. Staff were helpful and friendly and very obliging to our request for gluten free.
First visit to Helmsley so after a wander round we decided on Barkers for lunch.

Ava and Josh were amazing during the busy period! They were rushed off their feet but made sure we were served and enjoying our food. Thank you for making our visit so special.
