Henlys Bar & Restaurant

Wonderful ambience. Great place for food and drinks. Food available in bar and upstairs restaurant both. You can pick based on your mood and company. Food had great taste and balanced spice. We were there to visit Mount and stayed overnight in Premier Inn which was not far from this place. Highly recommend it! 👌

Booked into Henley’s last minute, and what a pleasure it was. Service was brilliant and our host, Emma (I think), was fantastic. The food was perfect and our steak was probably one the best we’ve had. Cooked to perfection (it’s amazing how many get a simple steak cooked right so so wrong) but not here, absolute perfection. Best meal we have had all week in Cornwall! We will be back next year

We visited Henlys while on holiday in Cornwall. We went on a Tuesday evening and they had a special offer on 2 basket meals for 12 quid. It was quiet in the bar area and we were made to feel very welcome by the owner. They offer a choice of Cornish beers and cider, I had a pint of Korev and my wife chose a large glass of white wine. For our meal I had the chicken wings and my wife had the chicken strips, both of these were basket meals. Our son chose baked cod off the specials menu. All 3 meals were very tasty. Me and my son had deserts, he had a chocolate fondant, which he enjoyed very much, and I had the lemon tart, which was excellent. We all enjoyed our experience that much we booked for the following evening for the 2 x steaks for £50. (I'll review that later).

We went in on Monday night, it was quiet but we were greeted by 2 really helpful and friendly staff members. They made a fuss of our dogs and brought them water. The food was excellent and so fresh! I had the burger which was delicious and I was stuffed afterwards. My partner had the steak which was cooked perfectly. Definitely would recommend this place

This place is MINT! I was craving an old fashioned and wasn't sure if it was on the menu but Amy was more than happy to make one for me. The food was fantastic as always and the friendly team made sure we were well looked after. We're lucky enough to try and get down here twice a year from Bristol. If you're local or just visiting I would recommend this place as Helstons BEST bar and restaurant. (PS it's very dog friendly!)
