Pleasant servers, delicious food in a quaint, historic pub. A real treat. Try the prawn cocktail, filet or the hanging chicken kabob and, of course, the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. Best chips ever!
I had the fillet of steak which melted in your mouth and for pudding I had white chocolate biscoff cheesecake which was also amazing. The staff are so lovely and I'd definitely eat here again
What a lovely place. Probably the best value Sunday roast I’ve had in a decade, £17 enormous and lovely quality. Couldn’t finish it. Top tip: skip the starter. Quick friendly service and super efficient. Great atmosphere and lovely open fire in the main bar. Free WiFi and Ales great too. What more could you ask for. Book early, it’s popular amongst the locals. Will be back again soon myself.
We've been before and will be back again. Why? Put simply, the Bell serves excellent pub grub. The portions are generous, and the produce is fresh. It's well cooked and tasty, and the service is a delight. What more do you need? a drink perhaps, and they serve these as well...
Booked midweek lunchtime ….. food was amazing, delicious pie homemade, best fresh prawn cocktail and pate I’ve had in a loooong time and the moussaka was fabulous. I had hanging kebab which was cooked perfectly. We will be back sooner rather then later. Couldn’t tell you what the desserts were like as we were too full to try them so next time definitely! The eine was nice too
All in all, fabulous meal and the chef (owner) was absolutely spot on….. as we’re the staff. We had Liz serving us and she was very good.
Best pie I've ever had! Filled to the brim with freshly made goodness and served with perfectly done chips and peas. 3 of us each ordered a different one and each meal was uniquely delicious.
The kiddie fish finger and chips was quite big but enough left over for dinner 😉
Service was very friendly and efficient though it might've been nice to know her name. I will definitely recommend The Bell Inn and know where to go if back in the area again.
The best roast we’ve had in a long time.
Delicious. Neil and Elle Masters
Thanks to the chef Andy.
What a great old world pub with delicious food. I took my family here yesterday and enjoyed a wonderful homemade moussaka. My wife had one of their homemade pies, which had a generous steak filling and a properly made pastry that fully incased the pie. My friend enjoyed the hand carved Ham with 2 eggs and chips
Had a lovely meal and drinks with wife and friend. Food was excellent service and atmosphere lovely homily. Will definitely be back .
Really like The Bell it gets so busy for food it's best to book ahead otherwise its bar snacks which are OK but all beige food!
