Had a lovely lunch with my mum over the weekend, excellent food with generous portions. Staff really accommodating and a nice homely local pub atmosphere. Such a nice location as well for a little post lunch walk over the moor.

Nice rear beer garden and lovely at the front too with great views.
On the down side, I would say, the staff are not very welcoming...but that's just my experience.
Good boozer with lovely outlook across the cricket pitch and moor. Good selection of beers. The Hawksmoor beer is expensive and not as good Tring Brewery.
Nice pub, where we went for a live music show doing a set myself.
Good food. Enough space. Good location with parking at the streetside.
Had a lovely lunch time with music and food.
No cheesecake after 9pm.... Great fish and ships but no possibility to order any dessert at the end of the dîner

The Best Pub in Hemel Hampstead!
The beer is a bit expensive but overall it’s a good place !
