My sister and I ate here. It was absolutely delicious.
Fresh and hot and well worth the money.
We had fish and chips and the kids had sausage and chips decent portions
we ordered 2x cod and chip meals and a portion of chips. fish wasn't cooked fully and batter was still gloopy, chips were greasy soggy and poor quality. unable to eat the fish went straight in the bin worsed chippy ive ever eaten.
We ordered two battered sausage and chips and a single portion of chips. Unfortunately we all had indigestion afterward, most likely because the oil was old. The rest of the family had a similar experience and one was even given stale bread.
No complaints on the food nor the service. It wasn’t overly extravagant but then again it is a chippy in Hemsby. The prices were okay and the fact that each order was fulfilled before taking another one was a bonus. The only downside to this place was the outside benches, they were filthy.
We had cod and chips today whilst enjoying a lovely sun-kissed day. The chips were lovely, but for £11.50 for cod & chips, it would have been nicer not to have had soggy batter. Somebody commented on here that it is the best fish & chip …
