I had the pleasure of visiting The Wheatsheaf Pub, and I couldn't wait to share my experience with you. From the moment we stepped inside, I was captivated by its charming and inviting atmosphere. The tasteful decor, adorned with rustic wooden accents and warm earth tones, creates an ambiance that is both cozy and elegant.
During our visit for lunch, I was delighted by the diverse menu options available. The impeccable execution of flavors left me craving for more. The attention to detail truly shined through each dish they presented.
What impressed me even more was the attentive service we received, even during the bustling lunch hours. The staff at The Wheatsheaf went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcomed and well taken care of.
I am already eagerly planning my next visit to The Wheatsheaf for dinner, as I can only imagine the culinary wonders that await me during this time.
What a lovely place. Went with a wedding party the day before the wedding itself. Child friendly, and a pirate themed playground that even as a 46 year old man, I felt like going to.
Large amount of wines and beers to choose from, and the food really surprised me. When somewhere says "home made" this venue means it. I just had a burger, and it was clearly exactly as described. Delicious, and the staff couldn't do enough for us.
Well worth a visit.
We visited at lunchtime, and there were four of us. The landlord was very friendly and attentive.
The food was very generally very good. The menu has a Brazilian twist, and I had the fish stew, very tasty. I would have given 5 stars but one of our group had the veggie burger which was, for her tastes, too spicy. I did try it, although I normally avoid veggie anything like the plague. It was very spicy, but, to me, the flavour and texture were awful. We had three courses, and that was the only issue, so overall, the food was great. Would definitely visit again.
