Friendly staff and good food as other reviews say. Also outside childrens play area with swings and slide. Dog friendly too which is an added bonus.

Unfortunately for many past reviews, the cafe closed in May 2023 and a refit has removed public access to that space. Sales counter and takeaway orders still function well. Occasionally crowded.

My wife and I had the early bird veggie breakfast today, £ 5.50 each inc. tea or coffee. HUGE portions, cooked to perfection, staff kindly offered a substitute of extra egg, saus, mush etc when I said that neither of us would eat the tomato so to save waste, not to put it on.
Staff also couldn't have been more friendly and smiley, and the whole place was super clean and tidy.
A brilliant place to go for a slap up breakfast, we're looking forward to going back already.............plus you get all the excellent baked goods you could ask for, to buy and take home.........Were very happy to support a local business that is getting it so right..........
P.s. you have to try the Bakewell tart tray bake at £3.95..............its to die for !
