Second visit and it was just as good as the first. Pleasant welcome, great beer and amazing food. Many of the dishes are simple pub grub like pies but home made and really special. The 12 hour beef was a standout and we followed it with treacle tart which was great, not too sweet.

To break our journey to Gloucestershire, we decided to stop off at Henley for a walk along the river and a bit of lunch. Checking out the options online we found this place had a "normal" food menu at reasonable local prices. Both the wine and beer were excellent. Our meals were tasty and filling. Omelette and chips may be simple fare but it was cooked to perfection. We decided to stop off on our return to Kent and again we were not disappointed.

Normally not a massive fan of pub grub, having said that I was forced to change my mind after having delightful meal at 3 horseshoes...
Had meal of the day , tomato 🍅 soup ,wings and Sunday roast was amazing and salted caramel brownie with ice cream hit the right spot ... 😋
