We had lunch in the cozy casual bar area as it had a nice open fire on a cold day. Interesting flavoursome dishes well prepared with ample portions. Friendly staff but table service suffered somewhat even though it wasn’t busy. Very good value for the quality of the dishes.

A great lunch for two. The fillet steak was one of the best my wife had ever had. Perfectly cooked. I had the ham, egg and chips (a great levelling dish for pubs) and it was excellent as well. Good wine selection by the glass and the starters and desserts match the quality of the mains. Highly recommended.

Ate here last evening, whilst I agree the menu seems limited we all found something we liked. I had the best Pork Chop ever, and we all left completely satisfied. Give it a go yourself.
