Went with a friend having never heard of this place before.
Just a pleasant surprise. The staff were lovely; very inviting and conversational. And they were dog-friendly!
As far as pub food goes, it was pretty damn good too 👍
Will definitely visit again!

I just want to say I am pleasantly surprised. First time coming here and the food was outstanding, service also excellent. In particular, Zoe showed us wonderful service with a smile. Would definitely recommend and 100% will return!!

Situated on the High Street, a cosy pub/restaurant. The welcome was great and we were shown to our table. The usual fair on the menu but as we went on a Sunday a roast was also offered. Two of our party chose a "sharing Roast" which they whole heartedly enjoyed and even took some home in a doggy bag as the portion was very generous. My Sausage and mash was tasty and filling as was my partners pie (a real pie, not just filling with a bit of pastry on the side). would recommend to friends.

Fancied a burger, fell in on a Mondays-only £14.95 Beer & Burger deal! So ordered the smoky pulled pork-topped Big Argyll burger and a pint of Siren IPA. £14.95 is steal for something so good! Proper Pub is clean with friendly staff and heated rear covered patio. Great find for Mondays off!

Lovely pub with a great selection on tap. The food was okay by pub standards. My chicken burger was both overcooked and not crispy. The Korean wings were cooked well, but not spicy enough to my liking. The people next to us had a roast and that did look great. It's decent, but I'd expect a bit more quality when paying £25 for a meal without drinks.

Stopped here for a drink after a long and lovely country walk. Decided to order an impromptu Sunday pork roast and were mind blown. The beer and Pimm’s were refreshing after our walk, but the roast was so flavourful and the meat pulled apart so nicely. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and the dish included tasty roast veg and cheesy cauliflower. My brother, who has been in the UK for 5 years, said it was the best roast he’d ever had. There is a large patio/grass area in the back and the staff are really nice. Recommend stopping by here! Especially for a roast

Fantastic place! I had the baby back ribs and, oh boy, were they delicious! My partner had the fish and chips and she said they were lovely too! Lovely service and fairly decent price!

Had a few swift drinks in the beer garden today - very nice sat in wooden booths with individual electric heaters if needed. Food ordered and delivered quickly and good quality and excellent value.
Dog friendly too.
