An excellent dinner on a Monday night. The restaurant wasn’t too busy. The service was good, the menu was varied (including the blackboard specials), and the food was delicious. I had the sea bass, which was moist and beautifully cooked, with a crispy fresh salad and a mound of crushed new potatoes (too many to eat). Other party members had a lamb and mint pie (a blackboard special), and the lasagna. All meals were beautifully cooked, well presented, and delicious. Pity we didn’t have room for dessert, but the dinner portions were generous.

As you can see all five star for food, service and atmosphere and we had the oap meal with desert. The down side was the wine glasses, size,type and condition. The condition concerned me most , they've been washed so many times they are in urgent need of being replaced. Well passed user date. Will use pub again but take my own glass.

Lovely pub, yummy food. We booked last minute for a table on a Friday night, easy. The menu was great, lots of choices and for children too. Service was great. The food was delicious, good portions and all home cooked at great prices. We would definitely eat here again.

Managed to squeeze like 10 of us in together for a quick lunch, portion size pretty fair I couldn't finish my food. Still managed dessert though, lovely staff and a clean table next to a window on a hot day. Lovely :)

A local pub with standard good pub food. A wide menu and I must admit I really enjoyed my Mixed Grill (but was more than I could finish, which is really saying something). Tony and his staff do a great job!

Had a birthday meal with my son,his partner and her little girl.
The service we received was amazing as was the food.
The landlord came around and asked if everything was good.
And it was very nice to be asked by him.
It was excellent food and at a very reasonable price.
