They get 3 stars cuz they could see I wasn't happy with the meal and they wanted to make it right. When you order a new york strip and one side, that's all you get. No trip to the salad bar, no bread. Just a 1/2" piece of new york strip and a glob of mash potatoes. Kudos to them for trying to make me happy..

Parsons is a nice, quiet place to enjoy lunch or dinner. My first time there, and as a customer walking in, is nice with lots of booths to sit in western memorabilia art on the ledges to look at. The waitress upon arriving asks if you'd like rolls, which are fresh baked in the oven that smells wonderful. The menu has a good selection but I felt a little over priced. A friend ordered the XIT Chicken Fried Steak with a baked potato 13.99. I ordered the 12oz Ribeye intentionally to see if it was worth the price of 28.00 along with a loaded baked potato and a salad. The Chicken Fried Steak was disappointing to see. You got two that were small and looked like something you would get frozen at a grocery store, due to the size and breading. Definitely not your hand dipped, home cooked kind. The Ribeye was cooked to perfection, and extremely tender. The baked potato was good, but the salad was less than desirable with lettuce on a plate, three carrot chunks, two cucumber chunks. Very clunky looking. The rolls were the bomb!! Fabulous!!! The only negative I really have to say one regards to the Ribeye price would be that you get a choice of two vegetables versus just one and a salad. The Chicken fry needs to be made from scratch.
