Love this place. The food is stunning, the beers are always tip top and the staff are a credit to Andy and Leslie. You'll always get a good crowd in (we sit out the back by the way) and a great comfortable drinking environment. For me, best pub in Hereford town centre. Cheers..x
I don’t get here as often as I’d like unfortunately - being a driving instructor! - but the Lich is my first choice for a relaxing vino. And their Greek food is of superb quality and value, mains or sides whatever takes your fancy.
Dropped in yesterday to entertain a visiting friend from Brum, and was hard pushed to get her out again! We enjoyed an excellent platter in the sunny beer garden, it could almost have been Corfu (almost!).
Highly recommend to anyone looking for great value and a friendly warm welcome.
We didn’t eat here we stopped just for few drinks and they have a very friendly staff and local beers and drinks.
You should try the local beers. The place is a very traditional pub with a plenty space for big groups of people in sunny and warm days you can sit outside the pub and enjoy the view of a very traditional street with small shops along the way.
Prices are fair for what you get.
Stopped in for a bite of breakfast. A bit late maybe, 11ish. Food didn't start until 12. I ordered a traditional coffee, like gpa would have, sat and read until the sausage and mash came. Next to the coal fire, it was all very good. Staff was excellent, friendly and accommodating.
We went here for lunch, and had a lovely time. The landlord is a great guy and super friendly, and bought over a printout with the history of the pub since I was busy taking photos. Which I thought was very nice of him.
They have a good range of beers and wines, and the food is mediterranean. We had the tasting platter, and a couple of other dishes which were more than enough for the three of us to share. It was quite quick and very tasty, and I especially loved the big beans! I would definitely go back!
Fantastic pub - super beers, great service and the lunches are brilliant. And added for 2019.....Definitely my favourite pub in Hereford! Great range of beers that are well kept by Andy (and the team), lunch is good, breakfasts (when the rugby's on!) great and always a warm welcome. Looking forward to my next visit!

Great Dog friendly pub, very helpful staff and good selection of beers.
We took my daughter and her American boyfriend here, while they were staying with us. They wanted a traditional British pub. The landlord was such a nice chap and came over to have a chat and welcome them to England. We didn't have food but would definitely go back there. The beer selection was good and the Sauvingnon blanc was delicious.
We only stopped here for a quick pint and I must say, the hospitality of the Barman was absolutely top class! The establishment is very cozy and inviting! and the pint was just perfect 😋
