The Imperial Inn

Our favourite place in town. Beautiful, old building and the loveliest staff in town. Manager Jake is beyond wonderful and seems just like a breeze of positivity, genuinely a very nice person. Very helpful and he really takes care of the clients. Jack and Ben in the kitchen did an amazing job with food too. The chips are always a win!

Amazing food and service! Tyler was inedibly friendly and have some decent tips for what to see in the area (as a visitor from Down Under, understandably I didn't have a clue). The food was top tier. Jack (chief) put everything together beautifully and had some good advice on the local ales. If I'm ever back in the area, this is where I'll come back to.

Great meals here. No host, so found a table easily. Ordered food and drinks at the bar. The drink selection is great and the bar area was tidy and organised. Staff were fun and polite, helping everyone best they could (it was busy!). Food ordered, took a while, but it was suggested by the bar staff that food will be about 30 mins. No problem. When it arrived, unfortunately, the mixed grill was overcooked on quote alot of the meat items. It was asked for med-rare, but even the chicken was overcooked. This was a shame as the ingredients seemed to be good! Just didn't carry thru to the cooking process! The pie was good, not a traditional pie, more of a "lidded dish" type. But credit where its due, it was very good. Would probably come again.

Nice outside area. Music not too loud, able to have conversations. Dog and kid friendly place! Manager went above and beyond, as my son wasn't feeling well the last few days, making in the afternoon nicely presented jam and butter toast. Most places decline it, so thank you again very much! Finally he eaten something! We had some lovely starters, mushroom bruschetta ordered twice 😋 😋 The girl and guy who served us, were nice and friendly, kept checking on us, if everything is okay. We really enjoyed our time here (visiting friends for the weekend), and the food. Definitely will stop by again when visiting Hereford.
