Had a delicious chicken pie with a good balance of herbs that bought out the flavour. Good standard and good sized helpings.
Liked the liver paté before and a delicious lemon roulade after.

Good food and drink, a lovely pub and tearoom. Parking available.
Sad news however, Mac and Val the tenants are leaving so the pub will close!
The pub is now under a new tenant and has been open a while. It seems to get busy for food which is a good thing, hopefully that continues.

We stopped by for an impromptu lunch and were given a very warm welcome including our dogs. The food (typical British pub food) was excellent. The best fish and chips in a long time. We will definitely be back to sample the steak on the evening menu. Well done!

Absolutely superb food and choice!
Any vegetarians or Vegans will be very well catered for, as well as everyone else. So much choice too! Staff couldn't do enough for us. Great ambiance, pretty fairy lights and wood burners. Nice wine selection too. Best Plant-Based food I have had in a long time!
