This restaurant is Hereford’s best when it comes to flavour, presentation, deliverance and service.
I’ve been a few times and shamefully haven’t left a review online-doesn’t mean to say I haven’t raved on about this place to friends and family.
If you’re looking for dynamic small plates all with unique flavours to share over yummy (strong) cocktails then look no further, always a warm welcome and attentive yet not intrusive service.
Also came here for a roast dinner and my goodness what a treat-a Yorkshire pudding almost bigger than the gorgeous handmade plate…yes please!

We had our wedding here and everything so better than what we had planned, they set the tables up for while we got married and we came back to a fantastic space

The best place to eat in Hereford. The food is just incredible, the staff are wonderfully friendly and are always very knowledgeable about the menu! I'm a huge seafood fan and being able to get well cooked seafood in Hereford is the dream. Their Pineapple Mojito is also amazing 🍍

If you are looking for a great Sunday Roast in Hereford town centre, look no further, No 9 The Balcony is simply the best, absolutely superb! Quality meat, cooked to perfection, banging roasties, delicious sides and huge handmade yorkshires, can't wait to return.

Best meal I've ever eaten in the shire (Been in Hereford c10 years). Good selection of Asian and European small plates that are generous starter size. Not sure all the plates would go together but plenty of choice. Not much for unadventurous little ones. Hope they can survive but fairly quiet. Highlights were Japanese style tuna and dirty prawns with fries. Blood orange gin fizz a little sweet and garnish all had a red cabbage making it a little samey but these are minor quibbles. Excellent food all round and the quality, variety and interest lacking in most places locally.
