Visited today, such amazing food and service! Such a family run lovely atmosphere pub! Very attentive, they do go above and beyond for you. I had a ploughman’s platter and it was amazing such a variety on it and my partner had a burger which he said was the nicest he’d ever had. Would definitely recommended . Also dog friendly :)
Just had the best ploughman's ever here. Really fresh and delicious! We sat in the lovely garden and the service was great. If you're ever around this area we'd definitely recommend this little gem.
About 20 of us were camping nearby and wanted to book in a pub lunch during our trip. We contacted the bells inn and they were able to accommodate us, we just needed to pre order. The food was fantastic, pub grub done to perfection! The selection of drinks were good and served cold. Staff were all friendly and beautiful surroundings, what more could we want! If you’re in the area it’s definitely worth a stop.
The food was provided by The Cider barn pop up.
A good selection of beers and ciders.
The play your cards game was great fun.
A good night out.
Great service and lovely atmosphere. Lots of outdoor tables and a great variety of food and drink, as well as a little shop with a good range of items. The sandwiches were great value with a nice range of salads and crisps, and everything else on the menu looked lush as well. Would be great to see a vegan option - just a houmous and roasted pepper sandwich would be perfect and wouldn't cost much extra to produce. Otherwise really fab pub, and perfect for outdoor dining.
Friendly, good food and local produce. Locals welcoming.
The food was great, and the service excellent. Well worth stopping for lunch here!
Stopped off whilst doing the Black and White trail hoping just to grab a quick can of coke, soon persuaded to stop for a pint after a lovely warm and very friendly welcome from the landlord and a couple of regulars! Beer was good, cider was delicious, gorgeous pub with immaculately clean toilets. The little shop attached was a bonus. Thanks for your advice on choosing a cider, it really was yummy!
A dog friendly pub with staff making sure our dogs felt welcomed and watered. The food was amazing, from the Wagya burger and incredible chips, to the Quiche that was just fabulous. Outside tables had huge umbrellas which were comforting in the hot sun.... and the beer, did I mention the beer. Just visit and find out, you will not be disappointed. Oh those chips though!
No lunch served on a Tuesday which we hadn't realised but they went above and beyond to sort us with sandwiches made from ingredients at their deli and at incredibly good value as well. They also had lots of snacks available to purchase. We sat outside in their lovely beer garden. Didn't spend much time inside but the pub looked great as well
