I always go here , with family and friends . The atmosphere here is really good , everyone is always welcoming . Really good for baby showers and parties. Had my baby shower here and the food was 10/10 .

Excellent food and service, dealing with 17 of us. Children's food very good and all food generous proportions. And a very fair price. Great way to celebrate birth of third great grandchild.

Had a lovely afternoon at the Heron today.
I had the homemade lasagne the way my mum used to cook it, heavy on the mince and light on the tomato sauce. Filled me up.
We were entertained FM Duo, a great local act.
All ages were present today and there was simply a great feel about the place.
And there was a meat raffle! This is unashamedly a proper old style British pub!
We'll be going again. 😁

A friendly place for , food , drinks and laughs always have polite staff . The pub is always good vibes when functions are going on or meals. The food is 10/10 with lots of different options and have a variety for everyone. The Sunday roasts are delicious and is always hot.
The venue for parties always looks stunning and is always on point.

This pub has a great reputation but unfortunately the day we visited there was a lack of ale or bottles of. Lager only being served.
Also someone needs to inform the staff or management that the flags in the garden are back to front.

I booked the Heron function room for my husbands wake.
Kim was very compassionate and understanding, she took away all the stress of the sad occasion.
Kim catered a fabulous freshly cooked buffet. Our memory tree was displayed for us, we were able to use Bluetooth to enable us to play music, the room set up was great, photos were also displayed.
The bar staff were fantastic and were kept very very busy all day until late!

Great lunch deal for two courses. Sat outside nice and sheltered from the wind lots of outdoor seating and the two members of staff that I met were very friendly. Just the right amount of food for a 2 course lunch, not too much and not too little. Food was good too. Thank you!!!
