Our first taste of Masala Bay and definitely the best takeaway curry so far. Delivered earlier than expected, hot, fresh and colourful but there is a ‘but’.
Perhaps spoiled by Southall curries and a keen homemade curry enthusiast, we were wondering why everything was so sweet? The sweetness completely disguised the subtleties of the spices. Perhaps we ordered the wrong dishes, but everything just tasted of sugar - the chutneys, sauces (greasy - we poured a lot off), naans, bhajis. Take this away (completely in most dishes) and it would’ve been authentic and fresh.

I like that you can see the chefs cooking while you wait, it shows they have nothing to hide and confident in their food.
The food was really tasty and packaging was really good, it comes completely air tight sealed.
We do order from here often

All I can say is WOW! The most delicious Indian I've ever had! The staff are friendly and professional. Nice and clean and clearly take much pride in what they do and they're shop 😊 Definitely recommend, and definitely will be returning! A********

First time of visiting when returning to herne bay.
Love the window view into the kitchen to watch preparation. All 6 staff in turn broadly smiled when spotting me watching.
2 staff on desk were so friendly , polite and welcoming.
What a change that all made to normal experiences elsewhere for takeaways.

I was very lucky that i went to this place. It was reccomended by my friend and the place was more amazing than i expected. It's food, Behaviour by members of Masala bay and the vibe of atmosphere... Just amazing
