My wife, my mother and I had a lovely meal here last night. Food was excellent (especially the Thai sauce for the mussels!), and service was very friendly and attentive. Thank you!

Stop for lunch, as birthday treat. Fantastic pub, excellent food and service. Will now become our favourite lunch, probably dinner next time we are in Herne bay. Rate it No1 in town. Thank you all staff and chef at Ship Inn.

Great place and good food but something lacking. Some confusion about dogs when booking - no dogs in restaurant area but then we were shown to a table in a doggy area (so could’ve brought one 🤔). The serving staff were lovely but kept forgetting us!! Felt that The Ship hasn’t yet found the right identity. Such potential though because of its location.

I stopped off here for an early dinner while exploring the area. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious. I had the seafood pasta, it was filled with seafood and I thought reasonably priced for the portion size. The dessert menu looked good, but I couldn't eat anymore!

The staff were very friendly even though they were busy. Much cleaner than previous visits under different management. It's worth a visit for Sunday lunch. It has improved out of all proportion from the last people. Would book again.

The nicest meal I've had for a long time when eating out. Staff were good too. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes excellent quality pub food. What a great surprise. No gluten free beer though unfortunately. Or it would have been perfect. The cider was good though.

First visit today, hadn’t booked and it was really busy but the staff happily found us a table and were very accommodating. Very friendly service and the food was excellent. Will definitely be returning.

Didn't eat but what I saw looked good. Great atmosphere and location. At last a proper pub which also catered for alcohol free drinks. Thatcher cider zero. Just my favourite. There's a lot of us about who can't take alcohol and it great to see a public house who recognise this. Thumbs up 👍👍

Really beautiful and well maintained pub the staff are very polite and professional the food is outstanding and great quality yes its a bit pricey for where I would normally eat but the quality and presentation of the food absolutely beautiful and the taste is out of this world and 1000% worth the price I would highly recommend visiting the ship inn not only for its exceptional food but also the exceptional view of the sea as this pup is right on the seafront

Under new management since I last was there. Lovely food, reasonably priced and good portions of food. Well worth the money. Clean, good service. Has decking seating area outside and "Customers Only" car park . Nice pub.
