Really great atmosphere here. Gorgeous little pub tucked away. Nice selection of beer and ale. Friendly local dogs. With a car park and plenty of shaded seating in a lush garden bit. Keen to come back.
Recently found this pub, and we will keep coming back. The food is delicious, and the staff are very friendly. My friends and I were very impressed with the food turnaround time (as we visited with no reservation on a Sunday afternoon). I would also say that the significant amount of outdoor seating
Nada made our Mother's Day meal a fantastic experience. Her service is excellent, complemented by fantastic food and a great atmosphere. The only negative thing is we could only give 5 stars instead of 6! Good food at fair prices, with lots of parking in a lovely area. We will definitely be back!
The food here is really nice. Great selection of food and drink to choose from. I’d recommend to call and book a table to avoid disappointment.
Had a roast on a Sunday which was really nice. I had the lamb rump that was cooked really well with a great flavour. My wife had the pork which was nice but nothing to write home about. The child's meal was really good value for money and was thoroughly enjoyed by my daughter. The staff where very f
I went there for a first date and was met by warm, friendly, talkative staff that made us feel welcome and were happy to do all they could for us. We were especially charmed by Nada, she was our waitress most of the time and was so good to us, very friendly, and enjoyed our banter. I would definitel
A Great pub on a sunny afternoon. They have expanded the outside area with more covered shade, plus a pop-up bar.
Really lovely pub with good beer, food and staff. It's also great for cyclists passing buy with bike stand, tools and a pump that can be used.
Walked past the farmers boy yesterday and decided to grab a meal, unfortunately they had run out of roasts however we didn’t have a booking so didn’t mind. Our waitress, young girl was very helpful and made us feel welcome even when she was rushing around. I ordered the beef pie with mash and must s
Lovely pub great for cyclists passing through the area
I had a wonderful dinner at the Farmers Boy today. My steak pie was piping hot right to the end. My mum sandwich was so large she couldn’t finish her meal; which incidentally, was very good value for money. And my daughter was very impressed with her burger Sandra was a great waitress. The actual pl
Came to the pub last weekend with friends for some drinks and then decided to have something to eat as well. Food was amazing as was the service, it was a lovely atmosphere and we were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay. Would highly recommend and will see you again soon.

Went out for lunch with my mum, enjoyed lovely food at great prices on the lunch menu! Special thanks to Sandra for being so helpful! Will definitely return!
Great surprise. Lovely food and plenty of it . Well cooked and good quality ingredients. It must be really nice in the summer, but we went at end of November when it was chilly outside but inside was cosy and warm with an equally warm welcome from the staff.
We have been going to the Farmers Boy for years, it is a lovely, welcoming pub with friendly staff and great food. I have to mention India, who served us today - she was cheerful and a great host! Would definitely recommend.
