Really great atmosphere here. Gorgeous little pub tucked away. Nice selection of beer and ale. Friendly local dogs. With a car park and plenty of shaded seating in a lush garden bit. Keen to come back.
Recently found this pub, and we will keep coming back.
The food is delicious, and the staff are very friendly.
My friends and I were very impressed with the food turnaround time (as we visited with no reservation on a Sunday afternoon).
I would also say that the significant amount of outdoor seating is a big win for the summer months.
Nada made our Mother's Day meal a fantastic experience. Her service is excellent, complemented by fantastic food and a great atmosphere. The only negative thing is we could only give 5 stars instead of 6!
Good food at fair prices, with lots of parking in a lovely area. We will definitely be back!
The food here is really nice. Great selection of food and drink to choose from. I’d recommend to call and book a table to avoid disappointment.
Had a roast on a Sunday which was really nice. I had the lamb rump that was cooked really well with a great flavour. My wife had the pork which was nice but nothing to write home about. The child's meal was really good value for money and was thoroughly enjoyed by my daughter.
The staff where very friendly and made us feel welcome.
I went there for a first date and was met by warm, friendly, talkative staff that made us feel welcome and were happy to do all they could for us. We were especially charmed by Nada, she was our waitress most of the time and was so good to us, very friendly, and enjoyed our banter. I would definitely go there again, the food was good, there’s loads of seating outside in the sun (when it’s out) and the atmosphere was warm and friendly, as I’d expect from a country village pub.
A Great pub on a sunny afternoon. They have expanded the outside area with more covered shade, plus a pop-up bar.
Really lovely pub with good beer, food and staff.
It's also great for cyclists passing buy with bike stand, tools and a pump that can be used.
Walked past the farmers boy yesterday and decided to grab a meal, unfortunately they had run out of roasts however we didn’t have a booking so didn’t mind. Our waitress, young girl was very helpful and made us feel welcome even when she was rushing around. I ordered the beef pie with mash and must say it was rather good. Will defiantly be returning!
Lovely pub great for cyclists passing through the area
