Amazing roast- I had the pork. There was so much meat. We had extra helpings of vegetables as find most places don’t give you much.

Amazing good quality food and fantastic service from really friendly staff. The Sunday roast is delicious and the menu changes regularly with new specials so there’s always something new to try. I would highly recommend.

A very good steak and ale pie, brim full with flavoursome tender beef in a well cooked individual pastry base with a pie crust top. Great chips and a jug of tasty beef gravy. Friendly service. £54 for two with a drink each. Parking can be difficult! Recommended.

Wonderful pub garden. An oasis you wouldn't expect from the front of the building. Also, a great selection of crisps.

Hands down the tastiest burger I have ever had (chicken cajun burger)! We will 100% be returning, the food was amazing! My son had the kids beef burger (photo) which was equally tasty! Can't wait to go back, and hopefully will be warm enough to sit outside as the garden looked lovely!

We had a lovely time dining with friends. The service wa superb and the food exceptional and reasonably-priced. I was a little put-off by the welcome and to be told that the kitchen was closing and that we couldn't order any starters, not the reception I am used to

I had the sharing roast Rib of beef for 2. It was amazing so tasty. The rest of the family had fish, scampi and other roasts which was just as scrumptious. We was made to feel most welcome as we took our little dog in there that sat by the table quietly. The starters was delicious as well, my husband said the sauce in the mussels was very very tasty. The only hard part is parking as its a narrow street, but we'll worth the effort

We are regular customers of The Millstream and I have to say the service and food just gets better and better each and every time we visit. Tonight we had the charcuterie platter to share as a starter and the lamb shank and the chicken for main, it was all absolutely sensational! The Service as always was 10 out of 10. Ths staff is still all the same people even after 4 years of us coming which is really lovely because it means everyone knows you really well and gets your favourite drink ready before you even order. The Millstream will always be a home from home for us, it’s our very favourite place to go in Hertford. We Would like to personally thank Pete and Nikki for their exceptional dedication to the business and for their absolute dedication to the cause to look after us all so well whenever we visit. Absolutely lovely evening as always xxx
