Great Mexican restaurant in Hertford, quite a small, which is nice but can mean it can be busy. This is by far the best Mexican restaurant in the local area much better than 'the Mexican'

If you need a night out involving letting your hair down, dancing to some tunes , munching on burritos AND embracing the cocktails. This is the place. As soon as I walked into Dirties I got taken back to a holiday I had many moons ago. The venue has a real friendly and holiday esq vibe to it. Loved it. Hope who was our host (I think Manager too) was fabulous. You could tell she enjoyed her job because her customer service was friendly & warm. It’s always lovely to see staff in hospitality enjoying their work because I appreciate how hard it can be.

Nice food all round, just the pork tacos isn’t right, missing something. The service is a bit too inexperienced and lack the basics like remembering cutlery or glasses or side plates. If we were fussy about service we would be put off. There are also too many tables and you pretty much share a table but it’s hard to change that when it’s so small inside and they need to serve as many people as possible. Overall I’m not sure we’d come back as a couple but would as a group of friends.

What a lovely surprise. This is the first time we have been here and I must say how impressed we were. The service was friendly and our food came out so quick! The food was soo good, the taste was impeccable. Their cocktails so so good. Looks like we found our new favourite restaurant.

This was our first time visiting this little gem. The atmosphere was buzzing the decor was striking and the staff were fantastic. As for the food......omg it was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back for more. Thank you for a lovely meal. The staff are a credit to your establishment.

We had the pork tostadas (photo) - very generous portion good flavour, deep fried chillies were excellent. Buttermilk chicken wings not too spicy, fine but not amazing. Chicken burrito was a good size, well made. Cocktails were strong and good variety. Staff were friendly and attentive, nice atmosphere, would recommend
