Fast service and chips were great. Didn't enjoy the buttered roll though, which is strange as a buttered roll is a buttered roll, right? Might be the butter

I tried their fish & chips and it was phenomenal. They always cook fresh fish. Their curry sauce is one of the best curry sauces I have ever tried. You should definitely give it a go if you’re around Hertford.

Been living in Hertford for 13 years we have been on ordered from all fish n chip shops in all surrounding areas. Frying pan is by far the most friendly and best cod for the money. Highly recommended

I went here and got a battered sausage and chips and all I can say is wow. This was just wonderful. I spent £4 and got a huge portion of chips to feed me and also my friend it was so great I went back for 2 days in a row and now go back frequently. The staff are really nice and we chatted about football. We talked about the Turkish rivalry between 2 teams and Tottenham and arsenal. It was a really nice experience and the food is wonderful.I highly recommend going here as it would be great to make the business bigger and for everyone to enjoy the food that was made. It was really nice and I’m going back on Monday. I love having chats whilst they make my food and I pay them such a small amount of money for such a large amount of food. Thankyou so much I love this place
