Two of us dined in the downstairs bar stool section on a Friday night - great for a cosy night out but with a bit of atmosphere. We shared about 6/7 of the Tapas options - with the crispy crushed potatoes and the meatballs being our favourite dishes but most of the food was fantastic. Special mention to the waitress Amy downstairs who was running the bar stool section and was fantastic in taking ours and everyone else's orders, getting our drinkings and generally looking after us! Great job! Sadly didn't get a chance to take too many pictures, but it looked so good when it came most of the time we dived straight in! Well worth a visit for a fun place for dinner.

Turned up just before the evening rush without a booking and with my newborn in tow. Had a really lovely, friendly welcome and they squeezed my partner and me in. Despite knowing we needed to be a quick turn around for them, the staff didn't make us feel rushed at all. The tapas was delicious, would love to go back for a full meal and to try out the whole menu! Highly recommended!

Me and my husband just visited Anexo Hertford for the first time. And we were very happy. Book the bar stools opposed to the table in the restaurant if you want an intimate couple experience with dimmed ambiance downstairs. The food was fantastic and so was the service. My only request was that the pulpo 🐙 was more typical español with potatoes and paprika. We can wait to come again we loved all of it especially the food. Gracias

Very nice tapas, although more big plates than small tapas size. House white rioja was exceptional value. Excellent staff and service. Only odd point: they don't have a phone so it's hard to adjust booking if required. Hertford House (part of group) opposite take their calls instead. Anexo highly recommended and clearly very popular. Creme brulee is outstanding as are the mushroom croquettes with truffle alioli.

Hands down THE best tapas I have ever had! This place was suggested by a work colleague and I’m very grateful to them for doing so. This place should be booked up weeks in advance it really is that good. Amazing service, wood fired ovens, great prices and chefs! I cannot recommend any one single dish as each plate that arrived piping hot to our table was insane good. Please do yourself a favour and go, go, GO! vamos!! I came in with my family last night and we had a fantastic experience. The food was better than food I had eaten in Spain. Our favourite dishes were the ‘specials chicken’ the octopus and the spiced Cauliflower. The service was impeccable and the manageress Sadie was extremely helpful and very entertaining. I highly recommend eating at Anexo
