Fantastic Greek food in a lovely setting. We shared the mixed grill for two, we were really looking forward to it, and it didn't disappoint.
The platter it arrived on just about covered the whole table. The food was fantastic, and somehow to our surprise we managed to eat the lot, and even the waiter was impressed, and we also had room to share a baklava.
Fantastic food. Really great service. Can't wait for my next visit.

The atmosphere here was wonderful, really relaxed and fantastic staff. The food was incredible, tasty and plentiful and we were absolutely stuffed to the gills 😹... You wouldn't think that hummus could be this tasty, but it's a humble food that can be truly amazing, when made properly; this was amazing 🤤
If you fancy some authentic Greek food, this is a must place to visit ♥️
The Greek is a really good Greek restaurant. They serve mostly traditional Greek food, including kebabs and Greek cheese salads, etc. I highly recommend the mixed grill platter for two. Such a variety of meats and a lot of it. It's a nice cosy, little restauran, the service was excellent and the staff are friendly. The Greek music got on my nerves after a while, but that is the only complaint. There is an outside seating area at the front.
I visited the Greek in Hessle with a friend of mine and we both loved it. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was great too, we had two young girls serving us and they were both so friendly and polite. Everything is carried out to such a great standard, I’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends :) thanks for a lovely time guys!

Food is beautiful, cold or hot. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I also thought the prices was very very decent too for the quality of food a drink served!

This was a bit hit and miss. I arrived a little early so sat outside while waiting for my dining companion. A young lady came out to check I was OK and I was soon set up with a nice glass of red. Great service. Once my guest arrived we went in and found a table. We selected a few more dishes than we probably needed but isn't that always the way. The dishes arrived as they were ready. In general all of the dishes were good. However I found a small piece of bone in one of the meatballs which immediately stuck between my teeth. Toothpick needed. Plus the calamari could have been hotter and a bit crisper.
At the end of the meal my guest ordered a coffee with cream. They didn't have any cream. I suggested they went over the road to the shop and bought some but apparently not allowed to happen.
And then what really spoiled it for me. I ordered a Metaxa 7* brandy. A really good brandy. And it came in a whisky glass. We don't have any brandy glasses I was told. I know it's pedantic but sometimes things just have to be right.
I've given this place 4 stars. 3.5 stars would be more realistic.

Food was absolutely delicious and the service was spot on. I gave 5 stars for atmospheric because although it was very quiet (Tuesday evening) it didn't feel uncomfortably quiet.
Would highly recommend!
Yummie food, great location, amazing staff, The Greek 2 is a great favourite for locals and new clientele alike. Their menu is fabulous, food comes in good sized portions, it's always fresh and delicious and served with a smile. What's not to like. Highly recommended! 👍
Felt like a little Greek oasis, went just on the of chance. Waitress was polite helpful and even chased after us to return my wife's scarf. The food was awesome, really enjoyed it and was very tasty. Not local but will make a point of visiting again if in the area. Great staff, great food, great price if you like your Greek food you'll love it, give it a go, well worth it, thanks
