Heswall high street on the Wirral offers a variety of cafes and restaurants, including a tapas-focused establishment. Their menu allows you to order tapas or create a taster plate from any item on the menu. During our visit, we had the opportunity to try six different plates, and they were as delicious as they appear in the photos. The venue boasts a unique and vibrant decor with a touch of vintage charm. Additionally, they have a fantastic outdoor balcony seating area that overlooks the bustling high street. Whether you’re planning a party or a large group gathering, they are well-equipped to cater to your needs. Always a fantastic menu choice, and we enjoyed a wealth of different options, delivered 'tapas-style'.
We arrived for a 7pm booking early, and were seated quickly. The staff were attentive, and we quickly ordered.
The only downside was that as the night moved on, the volume of diners made it difficult to even hear each other over the table, so we cut the night short and went elsewhere for a drink.
We had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at Silk Road. The staff were attentive and the food was outstanding. There were 8 of us and each dish was flavoursome and piping hot. The staff sang happy birthday to me which meant a lot. Everyone loved their food and we had a fab time. I can highly recommend Silk Road. The restaurant was busy but staff checked in with us to make sure everything was fine. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Attended 24/3/24 as a party of 6. It was cold upstairs, but a heater was turned on, on request, and soon warmed up.
The staff were attentive and engaging.
The young lady who attended us knew straight away what, on the menu, gluten-free and which recipes had been changed.
It was nice not to be asked how the food was in the middle of eating!
The food options were varied and reasonably priced.
The best Halloumi I've had, and the Seabass was delicious.
It's definitely a place to revisit.
Really nice experience eating here with my wife and kids. The menu is really varied with lots for everyone to try. It's tapas style but the portions were ample to share. The staff were all really friendly and attentive.
Beautiful tapas, nice atmosphere, and excellent value for money. Thanks to Lyndsey( sorry if i've spelt your name wrong!) for a friendly welcome and excellent service. Also really good for people with food allergies. Highly recommended.
Lovely welcoming place, delightful staff, couldn't be more helpful, even tried to help with approx weights so our son could calculate carbs for, insulin levels. Food, beautiful , honestly couldn't describe this well enough, just go try, you won't be disappointed. Just a fabulous place

3 plates for £15 - small plates restaurants are my fave as I love trying loads of different things! The highlights were the chicken massaman curry and the meatballs - both absolute divine!
I would 100% return even if the service was a little slow.

Great atmosphere..very welcoming hosts.
At first, looking at the menu, my first impressions was another place where they add all in together ( as in the menu you can see nasi goreng, Malaysian rendang, Chinese, Indian n etc )
Ordered vegetarian Aubergine Spicy tomatoes sauce and Fried Seabass Soo chee sauce for main n starter is mixed Pita bread with dipping sauce for £12 set menu
My husband had Thai beef with spicy Salad.
What can I say..it's delicious, as a cook and fussy eater, I think they restaurante nailed it.
Recommended to those who want light but filling lunch!
