We went as 2 couples on a Thursday evening enjoying the early doors menu. We were given a complimentary amuse-bouche. The food was well presented. Don't expect large pub size portions. We had the trio of pork and the asparagus with okra as starters and the market fish dish as main which were good. I liked the look of the chuck steak which my friend had. For desert I had passion fruit Panna cotta which was OK. The plantain ice cream looked good and a friend had had the whipped mascarpone on a previous visit which was apparently good.
There is no dedicated parking so you need to find local street parking.

Went for lunch today with a colleague. The food was delicious, absolutely impeccable. The service was excellent, very professional and attentive. It was £19 for two course and £24 for three, so superb value for money. Can highly recommend.

We used Nova outsiders for a wedding party and had an absolutely amazing sterling experience from the first planning meeting to the last finishing off of left-over business. Could not have been better. Thoroughly recommended without reservation. The evening in question posed particular challenges as it was a veritable storm shaking our marquee with 60m/hr winds and everyone just calmly continued which was very helpful.

The head chef (Richard) surprised me with a tasting menu... I found myself eating with relish food that I thought I did not like. Simple food cooked well, I was blown away by some of the textures and flavors that was presented to me.
Well, chef my taste buds thank you.
The waiting staff were attentive, courteous and friendly. I will come again.

We had been wanting to try for a while, so decided to go for my wife's birthday. Lovely little touches, bread, amuse bouche, and petit fours after dinner. We brought our own cake, but they were kind enough to chop the additional strawberries and decorate them on the top. Great service, we can't wait to return. Excellent quality food at very reasonable prices.

I really wanted to love Nova. I would like nothing more than to support a passionate couple trying to make it with their own restaurant, and hoped that this would be another in their long list of great reviews. Sadly though I have to be honest and say that the experience didn’t match up to the expectation. With a few tweaks there could have been some great dishes here, the ingredients were high quality and the conception sound, but poor execution and overcooked mains really let them down. From the other reviews I’ve read I’m hoping we just caught them on off night, but overall we had a disappointing experience.<br/>
