First class fish and chips. The batter was very light and crispy. The chips had a very good texture and an excellent mouth feel. Service was great and the reatraunt was spotless.

along the walk off Hadrian’s wall, went with the bus to Hexham for a quick diner. Had a delicious fish with chips at The fish bar, fresh baked en kindly served!

Just had the most delicious scampi and chips - it was super! Had take away, but you can sit in if you like. Good portion size of chips too. Will definitely be back!

Needed a bite to eat before heading up to Glasgow from Newcastle Airport, so dropped into Hexham to find this restaurant. Food was lovely and customer service was great as well! Tried the new tiramisu dessert for free which was also delicious. Overall, great experience!

We have just had the loveliest fish and chip dinner at the Hexham Fish Bar! Everything was beautifully fresh, well cooked and nicely presented. We even had a free pudding to share.... homemade tiramisu, which was absolutely gorgeous! Staff couldn't have been lovelier. Highly recommended 🤩

I love the relaxed atmosphere of the Hexham Fishbar. The friendly staff always smiling. The food, always fresh, hot and well presented. Sometimes you wait a bit, but quality is more important. 👌

Had my lunch and sat in, very pleasant seating area and with table service. The food was freshly cooked and I had a cuppa. Large portion size and very tasty. Would recommend.
