Pleasant pub, with a good atmosphere. Beer always spot on if you like proper Ale and always have a new selection on. Plenty of other drinks are available!

Stayed here for 1 night. Room was fab, so spacious and the bed super comfy. The breakfast was amazing...cereals and cooked. Lovely friendly staff. Would definitely return. Two little tips for the B&B maybe add some shelves into the shower and the TV was a bit difficult to watch due to the signal. But overall brilliant.

This is a quaint little pub, with a lovely atmosphere and good, friendly service. We sat for a few hours drinking and clientelle were chatty and amiable, as were the staff. Really enjoyed.the.visit

What a find. Was just walking about and stumbled upon it. I saw the signs stating craft beer and ales on the pubs exterior walls so ventured in. So glad I did, very welcoming, a lovely space with plenty hand pulls to choose from. Went back every night of my stay in Hexham.

We booked all 4 rooms for an annual couples get together and from the moment we arrived the service was excellent. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the welcome bottle of ale was a nice surprise as well. We had plans before we arrived of checking out a few of the local pubs but instead just enjoyed the great selection of drinks they had on offer. The breakfast was amazing, made with local ingredients and vegan options served by very friendly staff. Brilliant value for money.

Really enjoyed the revamp of this place and the new owners are lovely with a huge amount of knowledge on what they serve and a passion for thier ales and thier customers. A homely environment with a warm welcome, a great selection of ale and lovely friendly atmosphere. Worth a visit
